Give Carla a Gift

Hello!! How are you? I'm writting to let you know a little bit about me. I'm Carla and I'm 18 years old. Next week, I'm going to start university here in Rosario. You couldn´t believe how nervous I am.
I'm studying English to be able to speak fluently and use it in the future for my job as in Argentina knowing English is really important and sometimes it helps you to get a job.
I'd like to know more about different cultures and their lifestyles and get in touch with poeple from foreing countries.

Duck joke

Three women die together in an accident and go to heaven.

When they get there, St. Peter says, “We only have one rule here in

heaven: don’t step on the ducks!”

So they enter heaven, and sure enough, there are ducks all over the

place. It is almost impossible not to step on a duck, and although

I'm writing in response to the question you left in my page. I would really like to be a chemist because I love laboratory research and I'm fond of everything that has to do with chemicals.
I'm glad you like the career you are studying. Personally, I hate accountancy because I find it really boring and it's not something I could do for the rest of my life.
Well, that's all for now. See you tomorrow. Bye!

Hi Carla,
thanks for your kind words. :-) I enjoyed reading your blog post. Has life changed in any way since you started your university course? What do you study?
It's important to know English here too. Most of people here in Slovenia can speak one or two foreign languages , because we need to if we want to be understood - we are the only ones who speak Slovene, and there's just 2 millions of us ;-). Other popular foreign languages taught at schools here are Italian, German, French and Spanish.
I look forward to reading more from you.
