Hi!!! I´m Sofia, I live in Rosario, Argentina. I´m 17 years old and I´m a student. This is my last year at school and then I´m going to study to be an industrial engineer.
I think that I´m studying English because I´m really interested in knowing more about this fantastic language which can bonds different parts of the world. For that reason, I hope that this blog could help me to know more about the others cultures that exist around the world and what the people think about my country. And I´d also like to make new friends who can teach me things about the life they have in their countries so we can compare our thoughts.
Moreover, I´d be interested in telling you many things about my country, my culture, the people who live here, our hobbies, what we do in our free time.

Hi Sofi!
Thanks for dropping your kind comment on the graffiti site. :-) Studying to become an industrial engineer sounds exciting. What kind of a job do you hope to get? I'd love to hear more about your country and your way of life. In fact, my students and I have been wondering if our ideas about Argentina make sense to you. I've written them down here What do you say?

Thanks for your reply, Sofi. I looked up San Martin you mentioned - I understand he is an important historical figure in your part of the world (did not know this before). The reason I googled San Martin up is because here in Slovenia we celebrate something that sounds similarly - St Martin's day - it's an important holiday deeply rooted in people's hearts celebrated on November 11th - we say that on this day must (grape juice) turns into wine - there are festivities all over Slovenia, people taste new wine (often a bit too much ;-)), eat traditional food....
