Me...

Hi ! My name is Wilfredo. I'm 17 years old and I live in Funes, Argentina. I'm on my last year of school. I've been studying English since I was 6, and the reason beacuse I'm still studying it's beacuse I think it's a really useful language to communicate with other people from all over the world considering that there's a great number of people that speak the language. Actually, last year I went to the USA and it helped me a lot, I made new friends, and I could manage with the language enough to do things such as buy clothes or ask for information. I'm studying for the Certificate in Advanced English exam.
The aim of using this blog would be to establish contact with other people form other countries so I could learn about them and I can tell them about mine too! I also would like to meet people form South Africa because my grandparents were from that country and I really don't know much about that which I would consider my "heritage".
One of my favourite things to do is to listen to music and play guitar. I've been learning the guitar since I was 8. My favourite kind of music is rock n' roll. I also like old rock n' roll such as Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis or Bill Halley but my favourite bands are: Kiss, ACDC and Metallica.

I know you were drunk yesterday

A fellow decides to take off early from work and go drinking. He stays until the bar closes at three in the morning, at which time he is extremely drunk. After leaving the bar, he returns home on foot.

When he enters his house, he doesn't want to wake anyone, so he takes off his shoes and starts tip-toeing up the stairs. Half-way up the stairs though, he falls over backwards and lands flat on his back. That wouldn't have been so bad, except that he had couple of empty pint bottles in… Continue

Wow, Willy, that's a great start!! Welcome to this window to the world, where you'll be able to communicate with other people from other cultures, and share as much as you want while learning and practising your English.
Congrats!

Hi Willy, thanks again for sharing your photo. I see you are also a flickr user - why don't you join the Walls Talking flickr group and send your photo to the group?
Just go to this address http://www.flickr.com/groups/wallstalking/ and click join and then click the button above this photo saying 'sent to group'. It's easy. This way your photo will appear under your name in the group pool. Let me know if you need help.

You're welcome, dear Will. I'm very happy you joined. :-) Two of my students dropped a comment to your colorful graffiti - check here.
Today is Easter Monday here and it's a work free day. We are all eating well and enjoying gorgeous spring weather outside our houses.Do you celebrate Easter in Argentina? I know it's a bit late already, but if you do, I wish you happy Easter.

Hi Will,
Thanks for your comment :-). I enjoyed reading your blog post too. How exciting to have roots so far away - hope you'll be able to go there one day and find your relatives and see what life is like there. Did you ever wonder what life would be like had your grandparents never made that trip?

Hi, dear Will,
We'll be back to our classroom next week..., still a week to go! :-(
As to Edmodo, you'll need to get in with your email address, I guess, as this is the way I invited you... Try and let me know...
Glad you're fine, I miss you all!
Rita
